At HOESCH, excellent design has a tradition and a future - the iSensi bathtub receives the German Design Award 2021.

Numerous internationally renowned designers have been working for the bathroom manufacturer HOESCH for many years. This is because it is part of the company's claim and self-image to create bathroom highlights that inspire users and viewers alike with their perfect form and function. The fact that this is convincingly achieved is repeatedly proven by coveted and renowned design prizes such as the German Design Award. The award, which was initiated in 2012, is one of the most recognised design competitions in the world and enjoys a high reputation far beyond professional circles.

HOESCH has now been honoured once again - with the German Design Award 2021 for the iSensi bathtub in the "Special Mention" category. The bathtub is thus in the best company with the previous HOESCH award winners at the German Design Award - the NAMUR bathtub and the exclusive duo of SensePerience steam bath and MUNA shower tray. This time, the jury praised the consistent design concept and implementation of the iSensi bathtub. No wonder!

Because the elegant and spacious oval bathtub immediately appears to be made of one piece. Hardly anyone knows, however, that it is actually not. Rather, it consists of two separate high-quality acrylic parts - the body and the outer panelling. However, these are so precisely matched to each other by HOESCH and joined using a special bonding technique that no transition is visible. This sophisticated manufacturing process uses special know-how to create a perfectly shaped seamless monolith, which also impresses with its material properties. The high-quality sanitary acrylic insulates heat particularly well and is extremely even, non-porous and insensitive on the surface. This not only feels pleasantly warm and cuddly, but also makes it easier to care for.

The beautiful designer bathtub also fits perfectly into almost any bathroom - whether free-standing or as a variant in front of the wall, in the dimensions 190 x 120 cm or 180 x 80 cm. Optionally, the iSensi can also be equipped with special fittings, LED underwater spotlights and a whirlpool system - for the highest design and comfort demands.
